Tampere Formula Student is an association based at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, established in 2006, which designs and builds a Formula Student race car each year.
Our team is built entirely of students from higher education communities, who are responsible for managing the organization, maintaining the project, and fundraising. Working on the team alongside one's studies creates a unique opportunity to learn and grow as team players and become the future professionals.
We participate annually in Formula Student competitions held across Europe, where we compete in the internal combustion engine category with a hybrid car against other higher education institutions.
